About Shelley Welch

Shelley Welch is a REALTOR® with 10 years of real estate experience and more than 25 years of management and service delivery experience in the Triangle. A Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®), her background in social services, developmental disabilities and aging care created a lifelong interest in accessibility, independence and connecting people with the resources they need.

With personal and professional experience in multigenerational living, Shelley especially enjoys helping older adults and families navigate downsizing, 55+ living, accessibility needs and moves that bring generations closer together. Raised in a Navy family, she also understands relocation firsthand and brings that perspective to families making North Carolina home.

A UNC-Chapel Hill graduate in Recreation Administration with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation in 1991, Shelley believes where we live should support how we want to live — from family and accessibility to recreation, community and connection. Active in the Wake Forest community, Shelley holds leadership roles with the Villas of Wake Forest COA, Wake Forest Power Hour BNI and the Wake Forest Area Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee and is a member of SING-WF. Outside of real estate, Shelley enjoys family, going out with friends, sports, gardening, travel and time near the water — with a future dream involving a little more sand and salt air.
